HIDDEN ELECTRIC DOG FENCE- SPLIT YARD CONFIGURATION

Split yard configuration is most helpful when you want your dog to be either in the back yard or the front yard but not have free reign to go between the back and front. You might want your dog in front only when your there and in the back yard most the time. In that case this hidden dog fence configuration provides that solution.

Hidden Dog Fence- Front yard deterrent

Another yard configuration option is the front deterrent configuration. This design allows the dog to pass from the back yard to the front but significantly deters the dog from the front because the front containment perimeter is very close to the house. This protects the dog from leaving the yard when the front door opens though does not give the dog much room in the front. This may be ideal for homeowners who wish to keep their front yard mostly dog free.

Hidden Electric Dog Fence- Back/Front Yard Double loop

We normally don’t recommend back yard, or front yard only installation because it typically leaves one part of the yard unprotected. However, there may be an occasion when this application would work well. Its important to note that the distance between the containment boundary wires in a double loop configuration needs to be at least 8′ apart.

Electric Dog Fence with exclusion area

Sometimes you might want your dog to be free in the yard but not have access to flower beds, gardens, ponds, pools and other areas. In that case we can create ‘no-go’ zones within the yard that your dog will stay out of. Keep your dog safe, the flowers and vegetables in tact and the pool for people with exclusionary ‘no-go’ zones or areas.

Using an Electric Fence with a physical fence

Its really interesting how often pet owners put up physical fences (wood, chain link etc..) to keep their dog safely contained only to find that their dogs find a way over, under, through or around an existing physical fence.  Using an Electric Dog Fence in addition to a physical fence is an immediate solution to be able to keep an adventurous dog safely in the yard. The Contain My Dog Electric Dog Fence provides a buffer that prevents a curious dog from even getting to the fence. So jumping, digging are not an escape option for the dog that has a physical fence buffered with a hidden electric dog fence. Below is only one of the many possible examples of how a canine electric dog fence can be configured with a chain link or wooden fence to keep your dog safely contained.
